About Obama Watches I made the “Original” Obama smiley face watch to support the presidential candidacy of Barack Obama. It was my own mini-viral campaign. I wore my Obama watch all the time, to work, to parties, wherever I went. So many people admired the watch, I decided to create a collection of Obama for President watches and sell them online.While some people wear our watches to make a fashion statement, I’d much prefer they wear it as a political statement. The Obama watch is a great ice breaker and conversation starter and if that conversation leads you to convince a friend, relative, coworker or stranger to think about why they should consider supporting Barack Obama this November, then all the better. These days, with the time available everywhere from cell phones to radios to online, not as many people wear watches. But that’s good news. If someone happens to ask you what time it is, just point to your Obama watch and say, “It’s time for change.” And if you’re just wearing a regular watch, you can still point to it and say ”It’s time for a change.” It works almost as well.
